General

We are a client focused practice and beleive that the best outcomes arrive from a transparent and honest working relationship with our clients from the outset. We listen carefully to our clients and always deliver solutions which are framed by their brief. Whilst design is our passion we aim to bring value to each project in delivering the optimum solutions for clients in relation to their brief and budget. Cost and quality control are essential elements of this process.

Our fees for complete services to completion are typically between 12% to 15% of the construction cost of the project. We beleive that the value added in the design and approvals process is commensurate with this, quite often however we are able to save our clients our fees in savings on building work through the proper tendering and contract management of the project.

Whilst we prefer to be involved for the duration of the project, from inception through to completion, we are able to provide partial services, as required, to suit individual client requirements.

Cost Control

We understand that building is an expensive undertaking and for many people the largest financial comittment they are likely to make in their lives. The professional management of this process is critical. We are mindful of costs at each stage of the project and through a system  of cost analsysis from an early stage through to comprehensive documentation at tender stage and the use of correct building contracts.

Feasibility

We can offer initial consultation on your project where we resolve the feasibilty of your ideas against your budget and the probable requirements of Council. This can be undertaken at hourly rates and is a good way to begin the process. From this we would establish a Council approvable scope and a likely budget for the project.
